Holding Rocks

They don’t need as much space as other conspecifics, but they should still have a sufficiently large run . Due to their weight, they don’t really tend to fly, so it doesn’t have to be too high a fence .

Character of Plymouth Rocks

Rocks are very calm and affectionate chickens that quickly become tame. They get along well with each other and if they are given enough space, socializing several roosters with enough hens is no problem.

Eggs from Plymouth hens

The hens lay 180 cream-colored eggs with a weight of approx. 55g and do so very reliably in winter!
