How small is small

Dwarf breeds are the dwarfed forms of the large breeds. Like their larger relatives, they have been bred for laying performance. Not only do most dwarf representatives of their breed lay almost as many eggs, but sometimes they almost reach the egg weight of the large breeds. It was probably the ulterior motive of the bantam hens to have good egg suppliers, which also look cute due to their small size and also require little space.
There is also the original large breed of all dwarf chickens – with the exception of the original dwarfs.
Heavyweights among the dwarf breeds
E.g. Dwarf-Brahma, Dwarf-Malaie, Dwarf-Welsumer, Dwarf-Mechelner
Middleweights among the bantams
E.g. Appenzell dwarf pointed hood, dwarf owl bearded chicken, dwarf legbar, dwarf Kraienkopp
Lightweights among the bantams
E.g. Dwarf Silk Hen, Modern English Dwarf Fighter
